BJP Home Support is looking for someone to join our ever-growing team as a Care Supervisor. We support and provide care to people in their own homes throughout Redcar & Cleveland and some parts of Middlesbrough.

Use of a car and a full UK driving licence is essential to meet the demands of the role.

The role is contracted at 37.5 hours per week working core hours of 9am-5pm, Monday – Friday. Flexibility to meet the demands of the role is required outside of these hours as a requirement to be part of a shared on-call system.

The successful candidate will spend time both in the office at Guisborough and out in the community across Redcar & Cleveland and Middlesbrough areas.

This role will have responsibilities including, but not limited to the following:

• Staff spot checks
• Care certificate observations
• Assessments for new clients
• Client reviews
• On-call duties (rota system to share on call)
• Handling general queries from care staff, clients and client’s family
• Escalating issues to management where necessary
• Completing care calls as needed as emergency cover

We will help to develop the skills needed for this role, offering opportunity for training at the level required and will encourage enrolment onto a level 3 in Health and Social Care if not already completed.
