Job Description:
Gracelands Care Home currently has a Care Assistant vacancy for days.
Care Assistant rate of pay: £12.71 per hour
Bank Holidays are currently paid at double time, meaning as a Care Assistant you could earn up to £25.42 per hour
Overtime shifts currently achieve an enhanced payment in addition to the hourly base rate of £2 per hour, meaning for overtime shifts, as a Care Assistant you could earn up to £14.71 per hour

Responsibilities of a Care Assistant:
· Provide high standards of care to residents following their personalised care plan.
· Provide personal care & grooming support, mobility, social and sensory support, ensuring all tasks are completed during the period of duty and residents receive the required care.
· Support with the induction and mentoring of new staff, ensuring all tasks are completed to the desired standard.
· To monitor health changes and liaise senior staff members .
· To act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident
· To support all residents with their nutritional and dietary requirements.
· Complete and maintain accurate records.
