Care Assistant

Care Assistant rate of pay: £12.21 per hour

Bank Holidays are currently paid at double time, meaning as a Care Assistant you could earn up to £24.41 per hour

Overtime shifts currently achieve an enhanced payment in addition to the hourly base rate of £2 per hour, meaning for overtime shifts, as a Care Assistant you could earn up to £14.21 per hour

Responsibilities of a Care Assistant:

· Provide high standards of care to residents following their personalised care plan.

· Provide personal care & grooming support, mobility, social and sensory support, ensuring all tasks are completed during the period of duty and residents receive the required care.

· Support with the induction and mentoring of new staff, ensuring all tasks are completed to the desired standard.

· To monitor health changes and liaise senior staff members .

· To act courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident

· To support all residents with their nutritional and dietary requirements.

· Complete and maintain accurate records.

We offer full time contracts (37 hours per week) which provides a set two-week rolling rota, working 4 days on week 1 and 3 days on week 2, meaning you work every other weekend with several days off in between.
