The Champion Awards are a heartfelt celebration of paid care workers across Redcar & Cleveland who go above and beyond to make a difference.

These awards honour individuals of all ages and experience levels who show dedication, compassion and excellence in care. Whether they’re just beginning their careers or have served for decades, we want to hear their stories.

Do you know a care worker who deserves to be recognised?

Nominate them below for one of the following categories:

  • Rising Star Award – For care workers who are less than three years into their career and already making a significant impact. Open to all ages.
  • Lifetime Achievement Award – Honouring care workers with 10+ years of dedicated service who have made a lasting impact in their community.
  • Young Carer of the Year Award – For care workers aged 25 or under who have shown exceptional dedication and made a meaningful difference.
  • Unsung Hero Award – For care workers whose quiet, consistent excellence touches the lives of those around them, even if they don’t always seek the spotlight.
